I don't know where to begin but I know this school has let my child down time and time again.
Parents evening is all about the negatives and what your child is not good at, we would walk out so disheartened as this wasn't the child we knew and saw at home. I was actually very worried about my child thinking they were really far behind. I instructed a tutor and found out that they are actually really intelligent but suspect they could be dyslexic.
Sen support appears to be non existent since a change in staff and it is questionable on how educated they are in doing a dyslexia screening. We sent the results off to a qualified dyslexia asser and they confirmed that the system is next to useless but also if the person carrying out the screen isn't educated correctly then they will miss key indicators.
If you intend to send your child to this school, please make sure you attend church every weekend, volunteer at every event and make sure you always pay the yearly ' voluntary contribution'. If you don't, your child will be over looked for everything and zero effort put in. You'll even get looked down on and see dirty looks given to you when they think you are not looking by slt.
Personally it has been a massive regret of mine chosing Christ the King for my child and in hindsight I would have chosen one of the many other schools in the area.
They do not follow the school ethos of treat other how you would want to be treated yourself. They only treat the people they seem to be rich or of a 'higher class' to be worthy of fair treatment.
