Terrible experience as an immigrant

Terrible school, the people i have met in my years of this are very bad, they are either: annoying, disgusting, or just unkind generally. They are also very rude to immigrants and religious people, like me who is from Serbia and follows Orthodox Christianity, I CANT EVEN SHARE MY OWN OPINION BECAUSE EVERYBODY IS RUDE. No-one can even share their differences due to rudeness to people my age! Not to mention head teachers and people in pastoral office, they are very, very unsympathetic, unpatient and just rudely respond and talk to students, and get on everybody's nerves. I moved back to Serbia, country almost at a brink of war just so I can have a better life around better people. If this school was a person, it would be a clown because it a joke. To all students that are reading this, move school as soon as you can.

Going here was... an experiance

Pastoral are some of the most incompetent ***** I've had to deal with. Did nothing about the people sending me SA threats and assaulting me IN school. Had glue and ink thrown at me during tutor time as they shouted insults at me. After I was told it was 'inappropriate' for me to leave the room and that I should have asked for permission?? This group of people had been bullying me (And multiple others) for multiple years and nothing was ever done. Got picked on by a dozen people and bullied by a good few in KS4 alone.

At one point a group of 6-8 people from our tutor just sat outside in the corridor doing hw because we were so tired of them. Not to mention nobody ever did anything about this. Half of the teachers have no voice and find it impossible to control a class. It isn't uncommon for people to ask to go to the bathroom and just not come back to class.

In addition:
~No compassion for medical conditions (PE is forced on people with chronic pain, not allowing them to use lifts etc. Mental health is NOT taken seriously at all.)
~Getting told our PE uniform is 'inappropriate to wear in public' by the teachers who designed it to barely fit if you're above size 6
~Toilets are an absolute mess, it just became a joke near the end how bad they smelt
~Vaping and smoking are huge issues, toilets have been shut because of this before
~People get shouted at for having panic attacks/meltdowns
~Got screamed at for using a ray box without wearing safety goggles
~Had a teacher tell me I would never achieve anything in front of half of the class (This is the same teacher as in the story above)

I will admit there are some AMAZING teachers who are so helpful, especially in the final months of yr 11. There were good points, but overall I dreaded coming here every day and would hope to get run over by a bus before I got there (Almost happened once)

Pretty good

Deer park was honestly one of the more interesting experiences of my life. The teachers here range from awful to amazing, Mr David the physics teacher will literally get you a straight 9 easily. The pastoral team isn’t the complete best, sometimes they handle things very well and other times it’s a case of them always believing whoever goes to them first. The food is alright, there isn’t an amazing amount of choice but most meals here are pretty decent (avoid spag Bol at all costs though). The facilities include a brand new English block right the way through to a “temporary” block built 50 years ago which is still in use today. One great thing is a lot of people who go to deer park also end up going to the college next door, so a lot of your friends will still be there when you do your a levels. Overall, a pretty good school but could do with some improvements, cirencester college overall a better experience once you get there though.
