Average

Its an average school I would say it's not perfect by any means but most of the teachers try their hardest however much it is ruined by inconsiderate disrupting students and the field is really nice. The pe is quite good, they let you partake ina range of different sports such as javelin or rugby and pe probably has the best teachers. Very little is done about bullying however as the punishments are innefective and school culture frowns down upon snitching also if you go to the back of the field you can get away with almost anything as no teachers patroll that far. Some teachers clearly have grudges against students even if they are not particularly disruptive and it can be very evident. Also punishments are not standardized and completely depend on how nice the teacher is

My experience with CNS

Tough one.
On the one hand, the education side of the school is excellent. Top notch teachers (at least the ones I had), engaging courses, and actually some good equipment, particularly the media studies side of things. Homework isn't that much of a pain and the systems they have (when they aren't annoying) are really effective. So that's one side of things.
The people are a mixed bag, admittedly. I've been there when part of the tree line got set on fire, kids played with a crow's corpse, and just generally asshats go there. You've got the split in the early years of roadmen and actually nice people, which gets more obvious as the years go on, but more often than not it's not a huge problem after the first couple years. I've also met some lovely people there, so it's not all bad.

Now, there are some really annoying parts of CNS. The management (at least for me and probs because it's an academy) is really obnoxious to deal with. One way systems, while mostly useful, are also hypocritical and used poorly. The first red Thursday last year was not supported in the slightest. All around dumb decisions are made. Sure the school is becoming more inclusive and progressive which is good, but they can still be massive pains in the arse at times. They also act suite authoritive too, confiscating devices, enforcing uniform down to the slightest misdemeanor, etc. etc., so they certainly aren't perfect and can be really annoying.

However, despite all these problems the school is a damn good one. As I've said, education is fantastic, and coupled with great support the place can really help acknowledge one's potential. Its just a shame the place is brought down somewhat by annoying, hypocritical and authoritative management and some people who just don't care and are just flat out assholes. But overall, I just really like the place, I think it's definitely worth going.

This place was hell

The years I spent in that school were probably the worst of any school experience I've had. If there was one thing I remember learning from that place was that if I had a problem, don't deal with it in any reasonable manner, just ignore it. This, is obviously, not a good lesson to give yo young people. The environment was hardly ever calm or welcoming but more anxious and unsettling. The teachers were also awful at doing anything, including teaching or any kind of support!!! As soon as I left that place I felt as if a weight had been lifted from my shoulders.

Its horrible

My sister is lactose intolerant and the food in the school has either meat or cheese so she can’t eat anything from the menu another reason is the homework they expect that everyone has a computer or access to the internet so they put all the homework online and it is really hard to get onto especially if you don’t have a computer also the teachers don’t know how to stop bullying and think if they just put something on the board it will just magically make bullying disappear news flash it won’t also the head teacher is scary and looks like the other mother from coralline and the people that go to the school are either posh or chavs with just a few people in between like me the teachers just don’t care about you and force you to do violent sports even if you don’t want to and I have been kicked and punched so many times and the teachers don’t care we are also not allowed to express ourselves I wore a fake nose ring to school and I was forced to take it out but if that was a real one then you wouldn’t be able to take it out the only good thing about the food is the Radnor drinks and to buy things from the canteen you have to use your fingerprint and that’s a bit scary knowing they have your fingerprint on the system
