At the beginning my daughter started at a different nursery, this was during the pandemic in 2020, but she would not settle at her first nursery, yes i could have persisted, but my intuition said otherwise. It was also back then, when parents/carers were not allowed to enter the nursery buildings due to protocols and dropping her off screaming and terrified was taking its toll on us both.
I arrived at Cradley Play somewhat distraught and explained the situation and from day one they dealt with us with empathy and tactfulness.
Needless to say, my little one settled in.
The staff will listen, they are friendly, caring and dedicated to getting things just right. It matters to them.
They run excellent learning activities. Their play area out the back is really very good, they want the children outside as much as possible playing in fresh air.
They send you a weekly brief on what the nursery will be focusing on in their play themes etc.
My daughter loves the meals at the nursery. The Cook is wonderful, she even makes her own homemade cheese pies.
I will be truly sad to say goodbye to them and most of all so will my daughter, she has flourished there and learnt so much.
So yes, I would recommend Cradley Play Nursery, as a team they are outstanding!
