My honest review..
i like this school.
I love this school, being here for a while now I have learnt how hard the teachers work to ensure the school is safe and well-protected. They do their best to encourage good behaviours and sanction people who don't abide.
Lovely school
We really like it, they are always working to improve and the teachers are great!
WHITE DOMINATED SCHOOL
teachers praise "diversity" yet the school is like 90% white
teachers aren't the best to be honest they don't teach you much and gsce options are limited. I think gildredge could be better but it's not that bad really so yeah!

Avoid this shambles of a school -protect your child!
My poor daughters suffered so badly within this school.
No control over bullies, in there case it seems easier to discard victims to isolation that larger numbers of bullies to be punished and correctly dealt with.
Parents beware this school allows interschool violence with little action which you can find within a number of extremely concerning and sickening on Instagram ( ebo scraps / ebo mugs/ ebo baitouts.)
All showing lack of regard for safeguarding aswell as puplis being assaulted while staff are present with little intervention in fact videos show in some cases teachers actually strolling slowly towards issues like they've actually given up any moral compass or compassion for the children within there care!
Unfortunately my daughter left here with extremely poor mental health and a fear to return to mainstream.
I shall also add the foulness of the head lead of safeguarding. No support , no contact and no compassion for pupils nor parents.

Teachers don’t listen
Such a bad school none of the teachers listen to the students I’ve had my daughter run to me in tears saying how the school aren’t doing anything to help her with her mental health and are only making it worse by saying and I quote “your going to have to get used to it” wich did nothing but put my daughter in more stress sort the school system out

Terrible teaching staff.
Do not recommend this school at all. Teachers are awful, especially Mr Addems the sports teacher. who likes to think of himself as a psychiatrist - which he certainly is not. Convinced students turn against their parents. Terrible school. Do not stick to anything they say.
Well..
Poor experience, It's still decent compared to some school but There no major events, rules always changing and switching mostly for the worse, small and tight. It's also acting like it's a democracy. Most teachers don't know there jobs especially supply.

They treat the students like circus animals,
It's like the American education system but British.
I have seen disturbing moments so terrible that I forbid to explain.
It has been a bit since I left and even though I am now finding a better place, I can't stop reminiscing about how horrible my experience here was. My mental state is permanently damaged as I have mental break downs every night since.
My parents say I was the most joyful, friendliest and happy child in my early years until this school went downhill. It wasn't always bad, they had time to change, a big opportunity. but they missed very far.
Once I saw a child getting expelled from the school for doing something pretty bad (I can't recall what they did), the staff were treating it like the child was being executed. all I could hear were wretched screams behind the silence of the corridor.
And the teachers here, I have heard things through their overly loud walkie talkies.
I personally think the main reason why there are so many bullies in this "school" is because the teachers hate all the students, so the students started hating the teachers without even knowing.
I could not stand a singular day here, heck it even a few lessons, even just one!
I once sighted a child run away while I looking through a window, I decided to not tell the teacher a child escaped. In fact, I quietly cheered on, I felt proud for them being so brave. They were my hero.
Anyways, the food here is so dry I choke on it every time I tried to nibble, and one of my friends even had an asthma attack after finishing their school lunch.
I have heard my parents, teachers and many other people say that I have the knowledge of a 9 year old, I have learn't basically nothing here. All I have which advances the average knowledge of a 9 year old is my capability to spell at a high-ish standard, and giving reasonable-ish answers to seriousness which I have all learned elsewhere.
I remember, a few times the "teachers" brought us to a library section, And if I recall correctly I remember all of us at least once or twice got told off for being loud. I get it's a library but loud as in whispering to their friends and occasionally a few hand motions.
If a parent who sends their son or daughter to this school is reading this, grab your child's shoulders, stare at them in the eyes and ask them their experience. Your child may say "It's fine" or "It's good", but deep down they can't stand it.
I really hope this review website doesn't make this post premium only, as that would be plain evil, I need every reader's attention for this post. I would only recommend this website if they don't make this post premium only.
If I had a cent for every bad day I had in this school, I would be rich.
Whats funny is the other very informal review here was posted a few days after one of the pupils I looked up to left the school. I felt their pain and I am so so deeply sorry for the agony. But at least we are both here together.
I would have written more, but i simply don't have the time and I feel like I am putting in way too much effort for a review.
