Shocking school

The staff are horrible there was only one teacher that was considerate and somewhat approachable, the rest would make you feel like it was a crime to ask a question. They only care about the smartest in the class and the rest just fall behind. It’s such an appalling school.

Horrid school don’t be fooled .

I joined sixth form as an external and there was instantly a clear divide between internals and externals. The teachers are more focused on internals and it almost felt as if I was invisible. Not only me but many others. The teaching is far too fast and they don’t take anything into consideration. Please don’t be fooled like me by the open days. This school is atrocious. I actually felt depressed whilst being there.

they don't care about you

the lack of mental health support is astonishing. you could attempt suicide and if it doesn't work they'll just send you on your way. the ssms do their jobs to get paid, the teachers can only do so much. but as long as your issues aren't grade threatening, they are a you problem.

It’s alright

A lot of the staff are nice, but some of the teachers aren’t even remotely helpful and make lessons a chore. Many teachers won’t let us talk while doing the lesson, even if it is about the lesson, yet we are told that we should speak to each other first before asking the teacher for help. Some teachers, when asked for help, will just point at a different question and say, “You haven’t done that one yet” and then just walk away. I feel this is one of the most serious problems as we are pressured into asking for help and then we don’t get any. This may cause a lot of students to just refrain from asking for help altogether, which prevents students from achieving their best. I just want to do good.
