horrible school
horrible school. traumatised me completely. the teachers never did a single thing about sexual assault, racism, homophobia and other serious issues. the amount of racism i witnessed in my year has only gotten worse over time and now my younger sibling and younger cousin have to go to school and deal with the poorly educated, racist, stupid and disgusting pigs they call “students” in their year. this school seriously needs to looked into very well, not a single former student of this school has anything good to say about their time here unless you were racist and popular which made you immediately favoured by the teachers. absolutely disgusted and ashamed to even say i went here. please do not send your child here, they would only hate it. i have nothing else to say except, do better icknield.
Quite good!
It has friendly teachers and most students are very friendly! The education is great, would recommend if that’s what you’re looking for. However the buses are disgustingly dirty and are never cleaned! There’s also litter all over the school. The teachers are friendly and will help you with most of your problems (inside and outside of school problems) which is wonderful.

Was bullied the whole time I was there by both students and teachers.
Left the school as a nervous wreck suffering with severe anxiety and depression.
Would not recommend at all.
The teacher that tried to help was told to stay away from me and I ended up being completely isolated by everyone and not being able to attend lessons

I personally had a poor experience during my time at icknield due to the teachers not listening to students and specifically students racially harming fellow members of staff, if your child is a child of colour I do not recommend sending your child to this so called “community”. However my respect goes out to those certain teachers that refuse to give up on students that are struggling academically
