Kelmscott School

This school is horrid, most teachers get angry for no reason even when you just say 'wow' in my experience, i just said wow and was threatened to go to the head of year. The school lunch is expensive eventhough it mostly doesn't even taste good, teachers themselves are racist, i have to deal with racism against me when going to spanish. I always get a warning in spanish due to racism, i was always picked on and this one guy who was always doing wrong things never got picked on. certainly dont go to this school as you deal with rascism, abelist language and homophobia, especially from teachers. Also, there is only a handfull of good staff most of them are horrid. They will not care if your stressed over work to the point you'll cry. They'll tell you to do it as homework and will give you a c1 for 'non completion of work'. They do not care about mental health even though they say they do. Everyday there is atleast a few hundred students showing clear signs of poor mental health and they will not care at all and ignore it other than helping them. The atmosphere is so depressing students need to listen to teacher for 1 hour and 40 minutes bore on about boring nonsense people don't need in the future. All students are half awake and will sleep in class due to the lessons being so long. Never go to this horrible school

The Teachers and Students Respect Each other. The Teachers Teach Awe-inspiring lessons and everyday my Child comes home with a broad smile. He loves telling me about his day. I Highly Reccomend this school

Racism is ignored at this school along with other things such as homophobia etc the school is also poor, they have such high prices for days like non-school uniform day and even simple things like glue sticks are broken. It has a very depressing atmosphere and the students seem stressed some even half awake in lessons because piles of homework and long boring lessons where students feelings are ignored and they are degraded for not completing work despite any situation they are in. Also, fun is not found here, pupils spend their time roaming the playgrounds without anything to do, I suggest phones are brought back just so it lightens the mood and atmosphere and pupils are more energetic and happy and also considering a longer break. I think money should be spent on adapting to the school such as making a bigger space so it’s not tight and packed. Overall bad review, lots of problems to deal with and hopefully it is brought to their attention to fix.

Teachers don’t teach the kids properly they just leave the class and make the kids work without help the kids mess around a lot too many detentions for no reason fully shambles
