Bullying

My little boy is having such a bad time during his time here because of the bullying at this school. I will not let this continue as I am very passionate about the wellbeing of little children going through the same horrific thing . Bullying is such a hard thing to go through and I don't believe that people this young of age should be going through this at such a young age. I do not want this ruining my child's reputation. Thank you for listening I hope this will change

Admissions

This is our nearest local school. I was told by the school admissions staff that there is a new government policy in place that means they have had to prioritise Ukranians. He said they legally weren't allowed to be over subscribed and gave the impression my child had no legal right to a school place. When I phoned the council, they told me he'd lied on all counts and it was against the law to prioritise over any student. Based on the fact I couldn't even get through the admissions process without the school proving it can't be trusted, I would not send my child there. Best avoided, like most schools.

Why I recommend Kings Acamdemy Ringmer

Hi everyone. I'm a year 10 student that attends Kings Academy Ringmer and have done ever since Year 7. I absolutely love being here at Ringmer. It's a small school that really has helped to to excell academically. When I left my primary school I felt really overwhelmed and scared to be joining secondary school however all the students and teachers where very welcoming and kind. Each teacher cared for my metal and physical well being and encourages me to reach my best all while preparing me for the future. As it is such a small school you get to develop as an individual and you are somewhat shielded from the bad behaviour that other students in bigger schools are exposed to. As a GCSE student I was slightly upset with the lack of GCSE subjects I could take compared to the other schools in the area but the sense of community that ringmer provides makes up for it. I have never had a problem with bully as the school has always been able to support me and settle any issues I could be facing.I would highly recommend coming to Kings Academy Ringmer.
