Completely ignored the difficulty and abuse my children and I were going through at the time. Admitted in private that my children's father was abusive and it's affecting the children's wellbeing (educationally, too), but refused to give support where needed. Consistently allowed their father to send them to school without food, coats and ignored the fact their father forbade my children to make friends in school. Would call me when dad sent them to school without any breakfast or lunch, but not raise alarms. They'd do the same with uniforms and coats. Their father slso forbade my children to attend music lessons and other events he disagreed with, yet mr. Lumber agreed in private that it was abusive but said there's nothing he can do about it.
We were extremely negatively impacted, as we didn't have anyone backing my 'allegations' on paper about the situation at home, and my concerns were dismissed and ignored. This resulted in my children becoming highly anxious, tired, headaches and becoming detached from friends and even from myself. If the headteacher at the time (mr. Lumber) would've taken us seriously, we wouldn't have had to suffer this much. Children's services highly relied on feedback from school, and school omitted so much information that was important. They've let my children down immensely and it's unforgivable.
