DISRIMINATIVE SCHOOL

I was a student at larkmead school with Tourette’s and seizures the school could not accommodate to my needs when it was easy to do so, they do not help, they discriminate, students are made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, they don’t put plans in place for students with specific needs, they favour other children over one, although they help kids to the highest ability if those kids don’t have mental and physical disabilities. The staff are rude and not at all understanding. I once was held back by a teacher who was screaming at me when I needed to go to the medical room as I felt a seizure coming on from stress he help the door shut and didn’t accommodate my needs I then was not able to make it to the medical bed, they do not punish, talk to or give warnings to these type of seizures but tell them that it’s completely acceptable I was put into a dangerous position that day and that teacher was part of leadership team. Another member of stepping stones have favouritesed students and refused to give mental health support multiple times and when accepted to give mental support they disregard your emotions and shut you down. I had been kicked out of being allowed in stepping stones simply as another girl there did not like me so they considered me a threat. A place of support for school and for mental health should not refuse a student with Severe issues and needs because of another students inability to accept them. The staff are rude and push you to high amounts of anger so that they can report you, I have been grabbed n restrained by teachers because I was “lashing out” (I was standing in a corner refusing to move because I was mentally unwell). My friend has been dragged to the floor and held down not being able to breathe because she was walking the same way as another girl who did not like her (favouritism) and yet she got reported for pushing back when she was the one who got hands put on first. The foods decent not too bad but the lunch ladies are lovely unless they choose not to like u then they refuse to serve you and speak to you.

overall the school

disgrace to education

i was set up by this school to fail
the head of year 9 previously expelled me in January 2022 for verbal abuse but in September 2022 larkmead asked for me to return to the school
the school was being paid to have me the staff was always so rude to me at one point i sat down with the head of year 9 asking him whats going on with my education he told me that the school didn't want me there the only reason i was allowed back was because the school was being paid £150 a day for me to be there so basically all the other students are valued with knowledge but as for me my value was £150
i am very glad that i was recently expelled because i sttod up for my educational rights
