Avoid in the interest of the safety of your children.

The staff can be friendly but their lack of ability to remain professional really impacts on the service they give. They are poor at handing over; from food eaten, to changed nappies and even more concerning; following serious incidents. They don’t seem to teach the children anything and are unable to recognise different abilities between ages.

The manager has her favourite children and employs family members. She is awfully unprofessional and can be rude and patronising to parents with concerns.

The building itself is tired and run down. The toys are outdated and they often ask for donations from parents to benefit the children.

All in all I think this is a poor nursery and ofsted need to intervene as a matter of urgency. It is not safe for children here.

Exceptionally Unprofessional and Poor Nursery. AVOID!

The staff at little bears are poorly trained and incapable of building appropriate relationships with children. There is a significant decrease in the standard of care when’s transitioning between the baby room and the over 2s. Children are left to their own devices and serious injuries cannot be explained. More often than not no ‘bump note’ is issued and you get told about it the next day. There is no positive feedback regarding your child’s day and they seem keen to focus on negatives such as interactions with other children which haven’t been so good, or lack of listening or even not eating lunch in the way in which they like. They don’t let you know if they’ve changed nappies, what they’ve eaten or if they have napped. And if you dare to ask they blatantly lie. They do not treat children as individuals and lump them all together by size rather than ability.

All in all, you get what you pay for. It’s cheap and that’s clear in the standard of care provided.
