Lochgelly West Primary School

This school was great when I was there because I was one of the smarter ones in my year so I found it easy to pick things up without help. My brother struggles with his writing and his teacher is really nice but doesn’t help him enough to focus and write neatly. The teacher struggles to give the kids a telling off which results in them misbehaving. My brother is also a pro at maths and I’ve heard him talk about how easy he finds the work and that he isn’t challenged enough. My favourite thing about the school when I was there is that everyone is so lovely and kind. We had school assembly’s every week and a class had to perform which I absolutely loved and it was a special thing that made the school my favourite place on earth. The only thing I didn’t like about performing was that the teacher gave all of the loud kids the main parts and left the bad parts to the quiet people who wanted a shot too but felt like they weren’t good enough. I loved that nobody was judged by students at the school and we all got on and respected each other. I didn’t like how the playground was empty and boring. Sometimes weird men stared at us from over the wall. Overall I had a brilliant experience at this school and I made lots of friends. I was given a great start in life.
