The School

Be wise where you send your children, scout them out beforehand.

Pastoral teachers wont respond to emails unless linked with another teacher most likely as they feel they don't need to.
Homework expectations are ridiculous for the quality and quantity they set. (no break for students)
Teachers can be far from helpful with favoritism throughout classrooms forcing those that need help assistance and guidance into taking after school sessions.
Details about Exam leave for students that may require such is kept from the students such as the withdrawal time period of exams (the point in which attendance no longer funds exams) potentially in an attempt to keep students in a school which doesn't even support them (attendance looks good for schools).
School meals extortionate.
No clubs for older students to be social and interact with peers.
Various study assisting rooms closed as younger students cannot be controlled.
Frequent fights and illegal activities taking place throughout the grounds and much more...
The students around the school down the alleyways around the town of Lutterworth itself, their mannerisms, behavior and publicly displayed intoxicated selves speak for themselves regardless of the young children present going to the neighboring school they still continue to act like they, disgraceful.

Lutterworth college review

lutto is a pile of manure

big up miss stephens i absolutely loved religous studies because of her, she was an amazing teacher and i literally hope she has an amazing career. i moved schools because i was being bullied pretty badly. i mean like, really badly. ive developed a mental disorder because the school failed to step in and correctly form a plan to help me, and to punish the people bullying me.

as a former student, all parents wishing to send their child here. if your child is 'different' in appearance, personality, or anything of the sorts, they will most likely be bullied because they do not fit the 'sterotype'. if you love your child, dont send them here.

i barely learned anything in most of my lessons. some of the teachers there are absolutely amazing, (such as that one ginger rs teacher i literally loved her sm, or gray in history, his lessons were always memorable) but otherwise, the lessons are distruptive, honestly, it was fun looking back on it, watching a pupil mess around so you didn't have to do work, but it seriously affects the way you preform in your exams, the way you have to revise more topics as the ones you covered in class were interrupted by a pupil, leading to much more stress and it just continues.

Not good

Utter shit, sisters got bullied, pastoral did nothing. Talks about preaching help and dealing with bullying but they can't even keep up to their word. Students are assholes, and the Teachers have a daily struggle dealing with them, if they even bother.

Honestly I'm disappointed, when I first joined I was hoping for something nice. Instead, what I was met with was the exact opposite. Pastoral leaders don't know what they're doing, headmaster needs to establish better rules, and the Teachers need to learn to control the students and give actual punishments apart from lousy consequences that the students flex rather than hate.

Glad I left. Don't start there unless you want to deal with constant harassment and bullying from your peers. This is coming from a student who was in there for 3 years, not a parent who just assumes that since their child doesn't tell them everything it's an instant 5 stars.

GCSE

During when it was Lutterworth Grammer

Remembered being racially bullied when it was Lutterworth Grammer school, during my time here and the teachers did nothing to help.
The principal at the time took the side of the bullies to protect his reputation.

Terrible

I literally moved schools because the bullying here was too bad for me to handle. The pastoral team, though they try, do not actually put anything in place to help your child. I was told to go into the pastoral office every single day just to avoid everyone in my year group. Very few of the teachers seem to care in a pastoral sense, and they only seem to care about getting a pay check at the end of the year. If your child is prone to being bullied, do not send them here.

The pastoral system is in shambles, I was never provided with any extra help to deal with the bullying, and it really ruined me. This school has made me develop a mental illness and frankly enough I'll never manage to fully recover. Whenever bullying happens, the teachers look the other way, but whenever a 'bad' student does so much as to keep their mouths shut for a few seconds, the teachers reward them with positive points and awards. The good kids get little to no notice and are often just a face for the school to boast off of.

As a parent, you care for the wellbeing of your child. As a parent, you shouldn't send your child here.

Bad, really bad/

Literally, the school does nothing to help you with your education.

The kids who are usually misbehaving are usually the ones to get showed with credits for the tiniest of things that the kids who are good on a day to day basis already do!

Kids start massive fights, no passion for teaching with some of the teachers, PE is horrible, they don't let girls who are on their period to go to the toilet just because of the rule that you aren't allowed to go during lessons because a few students usually skip the lesson in the bathrooms.

The pastoral managers do nothing to help with bullying, I went to my pastoral manager, they told me that they would come back to me to talk further, but did absolutely nothing all to help me.

Just because I'm normally good doesn't mean that I can't get validation for my actions??

I only ever get noticed if I do good in something, even so I've only got the star of the week award once in my entire time of being here.

Don't get me started on the food

my experience at the school.

the school used to be a decent school until the old head teacher left and the new one took over.this school are mainly grade orientated and this means that they get annoyed when they have to send you home due to being unwell. in my experience they once told me that i was faking going dizzy and lightheaded on sportsday because i didnt want to do it and we later found out that it was because of a heart condition. i also remember when the head of sixthform told me that there was no point doing history because i was going to fail it and in the end i passed all of my subjects but didnt get the grades to get into the sixthform part of the school. IT WAS A BLESSING IN DISGUISE

Sixth form is good

Sixth form is good. There’s many study areas and good support system from staff. There is a nice atmosphere and great teachers, only downside is there’s constantly work going on at the school so there’s lots of loud drills and banging when in lessons and because of covid the doors and windows have to stay open which is pretty disruptive at times.
