Lydden Primary School

I, a former student of this school, left about 3 years ago and the experience I had with this school is shocking.
When I was bullied, nothing was done. My bullies parents never go told and my teachers told me to not tell my mum that I was being bullied.
I used to be scared to go into school and the trauma is still there.

Used to be scared to talk to teachers about ridicule.

I could go on for ages, this school left me with no human rights.

Lydden Primary School

Bullied from year 1 to year 6 and nothing was done about it. The current head teacher continuously lied to several parents about their children. For example they told my parents that they were talking to the parents of my bully to get them to stop. My mum saw that nothing was being done about this and decided yo talk to the parents herself. Turns out Head never talked to the parents and was making the whole thing up.

Here people were told off for having mental health problems and having feelings, several times students in my class were crying or having mental breakdowns and were just told to stop and got introuble for being upset.

My younger sister, also a former student, had health problems in her ankle, which the school were aware about as my mother had told them several times. When she was in pain all she was told to do was just ignore it. We both especially got abuse from one teacher who I will keep unanimous who would get me in trouble for everything. When my sister, as mentioned previously, was in pain with her ankle I walked over to help her. I was then told by this teacher that she is fine and should man up.

I went home and told my mother about this incident, who might I add had her opinions about this school as well, she decided to speak to my head, head teacher just said "She wouldn't do that, she's lovely" and turned a blind eye towards the situation.

I had seen that everytime Ofsted came to the school, the teachers acted completely differently making the school seem better than it actually was. I remember that the school would "prepare" us for Ofsted visits by telling us what to talk about and how to act. This makes me sick that a school could be this cruel to students by making them hide their personality when Ofsted came.

When we used to do 'creative writing' as they called it. I used to be scared to hand in my work as I didn't want judgement from my teachers, I feel no teacher nor school should make a student feel as scared and alone as I felt and im sure others felt.
In conclusion, please don't enroll your child in this school if you feel they deserve human rights.
(Mother helped write this, I'm in year 8 now)
