Needs much better communication amongst staff
Although there are a couple of good caring staff at this school, communication is extremely poor, which often leads to unfair treatment of students. This school struggles to remove barriers to learning such as mental health and SEN and focuses more on correct uniform . Staff struggle to communicate, which leaves the children confused as they are constantly being told conflicting information by a different staff members often causing them to have after school detentions for not doing the corr...

Non-uniform days taken away?
One thing that I don't understand is that they took away non-uniform days so that everyone feels included but added culture day, which doesn't include everyone. I understand that it's a bit different for both situations but it just seems a bit hypocritical.

Appalling.
Don’t even know where to begin with this school. I’ve been here for a fair few years now. Doesn’t get any better. In-fact it’s gotten worse. In the last few years my grades have dropped significantly as the teachers genuinly can’t be bothered to teach properly. They let the loud and ‘popular’ kids do whatever and cannot and do not try and control them. I have reached out numerous times (over 10) in all my time at MAA to try and receive help as u struggle with anxiety and depression and school i...

Review from recent student
The education at this school is a major issue. As an example, there is a large supply teacher issue, as shown with certain classes only having them and not a permanent teacher. On the opposing view, the staff and teachers are very kind and polite for the majority. Personally, I feel like my safety at this school is not as it should be, for I am constantly yelled at by classmates, this could even be considered bullying, yet without punishment. The indoor environment is very average and basic, with the most unique thing being the teachers or the whiteboard "Do Nows." The outdoor environment is a large improvement from the indoor environment, as it is very accommodating for everyone. The food and meals are very lacking in flavour, mostly tasting dry and some students refusing to eat and bring their own from home. The information given before starting the school is very poor, even giving the wrong essentials to have on the first day. The activities and clubs are the only good thing at this school, as they have clubs for almost anything and some being run by students themselves

Beware, PLEASE READ!
This school is honestly awful, slt does not care about students whatsoever and new rules are made every day. Racism and bullying are brushed off and ignored (my friend reported someone being racist and they didn't care) yet they care about uniform more than anything - they go so far as to make you line up before school just to check peoples uniforms. Staff confiscates any jewelry and easily looses it, so many people have lost expensive rings, earrings, etc due to incompetent staff. Yes, we shou...

WORST SCHOOL DON'T SEND KIDS
This is the worst school ever u get bullied and they only get isolation like that will change them, the toilets have no doors and no mirrors. Sometimes I feel so unsafe because of how bad the bulling is. People get called racist names like monkey or gorilla and still those people only gets isolation. Girls like me will of course get our periods and some teachers won't even let us go to the toilet to change our pads. One of my friends moved schools because her dad hated the school and now I known that not only does the students hate the school the parents hate it to. They also tell us to use our voice but won't let us speak when we have been falsely accused of something they tell us to report when we are being bullied but then they only give the bully isolation(means when u have to stay in a room for the whole day and just do work) all of this is absolutely unacceptable and as grown ups I thought u will know better PLEASE CHANGE THE SCHOOL RULES , CHANGE THE PRINCABLE OR SHUT THE SCHOOL DOWN. DON'T SEND YOU'RE KIDS TO THIS TERRIBLE SCHOOL

Shit school
Honestly they rely on sixth formers to do everything for the school . Examples being that sixth form students are expected to help out at lunch times with duty , expected to run enrichment activities during and after school , have enough time to plan events for the school such as culture day and a lot more whilst teachers and staff are doing nothing

Shit school don’t attend
Honestly couldn’t care less about the students and half the teachers are leaving due to poor pay as well as poor standards regarding life within the school as teachers as well as sixth formers are expected to do everything for the school as pastoral and the heads are expected to sit back and relax whilst not doing anything about the bullying or racism happening within the school
