Onslow St Audrey's School

From prespective us a student Honestly Onslow is probably one of the worse schools l have been to so far And l wouldn't recoment it to anyone. Thete is no way this school thibks is okay to tolerates Bullying, Abuse, Harrassment and Discrimination at such a level. The school itself isn't that bad, just an average public school in UK even thought facilities are lucking. However That ain't even the only problem, the school has no control of there behavior and most times they just let thinks slip of until they just get out of control, and the worse part is that students think is okay to behave this way since the school barely punishes them and tolerates all types of behavior. And lets be honest they only care on words, and uniform is much more important then Bullying and afc direspect to there member of staff is a big deal but about students we should just ignore and tolerate untill it completely damages our mantal health. leaving students with more Truma that knowledge.

At first this school was bad but getting used to it it got better and better with good facilites but the problem are Teachers expacialy head of years but over all it is Great..

This school is really terrible.They preach about “no bullying” but students always get bullied by their fellow students or even teachers. And apparently they are meant to pay a blind eye to it and not speak up about it. The school provides little to no physical or mental support for students, and they expect every students to be happy with the way they are treated. It’s so unfair that instead of providing counselling and support to students they blame and insult the students. Students are expected to subject theirselves to bullying and when they report this, nothing is done about it. The students either get reflection or detention for reporting about how they are actually being bullied . But, when the student decides to stand up for theirselves they also get reflection or isolation and a message sent home about how this same student is being aggressive or violent.
This school need to work on their “no bullying” policy and ensure that they actually puts effort to stop the bullying. They also need to provide more than one counselling session for students.

The school itself is ok, but a lot of it definitely needs renovation. Floor tiles missing throughout the school, locks missing on toilet doors, broken doors to classrooms -among other things. Certain teachers even call students "idiots" and treat students with heavy bias. But this is shockingly not my main concern. I would also like to comment on the poor counselling given, as there is only one counsellor that works 4 days a week, that means they see 20 students per week - so a lot of students don't get the support they desperately need. I would suggest hiring a second or even third counsellor, because, for a school that "strongly values both physical and mental health", this is pathetic. I waited over 6 months myself and knew people who waited years for sessions, just to be given 1 hour a week with minimal help. I've seen binmen treat my bin better than this school treats students.

There has been many ups and downs but so far, it is so far, so good
