Ass school.
Absolutely awful. I was undiagnosed and they offered no help even after referring me to cahms. It upsets me to this day about how I was treated. Not a safe space for neurodivergent individuals.

don't send ur kids here
if I could give this shithole a 0 I would. don't ever send ur kids here, staff members are very mentally and verbally abusive towards the kids - speaking from experience. They're not strict per say but instead are just controlling and not in a way a school should be controlled. just last year in the 40°c heatwave we weren't allowed to get drinks of water or take blazers off, we had to do a protest just to be able to take them off. Stay away!!!
I’m a parent and have 2 kids that go to this school. They both don’t enjoy it and received detentions for the smallest thing plus sometimes they are told they have missed a detention even though they haven’t been given one. Kids feel like they are treading on eggshells all the time. My youngest is constantly bullied yet school says there isn’t a problem. If you have no other choice choose outwood.
Some of the lessons are okay, a lot of them have poor material and can be hard to understand. Most teachers seem bitter or have an agenda except for a few solid teachers who are there to help. The SLT staff are all very accusatory and hand out sanctions like there is no tomorrow, it comes across that they don’t care for the students unless it is convenient for them.

Outwood Academy Brumby is a greatly improving school. Students require boundaries and parents need to understand the need for school rules to be adhered to. Standards need to be upheld. my experience
some teachers can be lovely and create a strong bond with them however other teachers make it there goal to pick on certain students constantly making it a hard learning environment for them. they also shoot down any chance you have to show individuality as you get put in isolation for any sort of expression- hair colour, make up, bracelets, shoes, nails, what things you put in your hair and so many more and they seem to care more about what the overall look of the school and students then the education as they will willingly exclude you from lesson and your peers because you have a certain hair colour.

School of Horror xxx
Honestly, most of the teachers don’t care about you. You get detentions for absolutely anything, even the most ridiculous reasons, like not having a pen. Bullying is a major problem, mainly because the teachers don’t do anything about it.

Outwood academy brumby
awful teachers, never get control of the kids. give out detentions and isolations like its nothing. if you're wearing the wrong uniform you get an isolation.
