Our family’s experience with Rayner Stephens High School has been very negative. My daughter has been repeatedly pressured by teachers to remove her nose piercing, and she feels constantly overwhelmed by the stress and pressure created by the school’s environment. In particular, the attitude of some staff members, such as Miss Marshall, has added to her struggles instead of supporting her.
As a hijabi student, she has often felt left out, isolated, and even scared of being on her own, which no child should ever have to feel in school. Whenever she tried to be herself, she was put down rather than encouraged, which crushed her confidence. She has also been picked on and treated unfairly, which has taken a serious toll on her mental health. Sadly, this has contributed to her falling into severe depression.
Every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and respected at school. Unfortunately, our experience has been the opposite at Rayner Stephens. I hope the school takes parents’ concerns seriously and works on building a more inclusive and caring environment for all students.
I remember my child needed support with her reading and the teachers were supposed to help her, but they never did.
so, she struggled in math's and English and they didn't do anything when she was being bullied, I would not recommend taking your child there.
