I had an awful experience at this school and as did many of my friends. I was left very unsupported by staff and many students including myself had experienced bullying, which was never dealt with no matter how many complaints and simple requests were made by parents and students. They are extremely dismissive and discouraged me from my subjects of interest. When I finally moved to a different school, my mental health had improved and I had achieved much higher grades than I had been receiving at Rickmansworth as I was supported and encouraged instead of ignored, as all children should be. I am forever grateful I was able to transfer to a different school, otherwise my mental health would have worsened and I would not be attending university currently.
Not bad but they are way too strict on sixth formers and treat them like the younger years, if not, worse. Managed to get good GCSEs and some teachers are really supportive but others literally couldn’t care less. Overall I’ve loved my years at Rickmansworth & the people in my year are so nice, never experience any bullying etc. so despite its faults (no school is perfect), I would definitely pick it again given the choice (hence why i chose to stay again for sixth form).
its ok, some teachers are useless but overall the schools good, only thing i would say is a major fault is the lack of help when a student is being bullied.
