I used to attend this school for 5 years. Some of the teachers here were quite rude, but some were nice. There seems to be racism within the teachers as all the important staff members (such as head of years) were always white. During my 3rd year, we had a maths teacher who was new. She eventually left after her first few months because there were teachers who bullied her within the work environment. Most of the time there were students misbehaving, the teachers were not effective at handling these situations. A lot of girls were rude in general, not just in my year but the other years too. Whenever someone was talking in class, the teachers would spend 80% of the time trying to quiet down the student and would often pause the lecture. During my time here, I have seen girls transfer from other secondaries with better grades (a grade 7 at the time) and saw their grades dropped significantly within a few months from studying here. They went from a grade 7 to a grade 4.
In this school, it is impossible to learn or succeed. The teachers tolerate misbehaving, but being unable to focus with distractions is the final straw.
there are better schools than this one. teachers do not care about education clearly. even when they do, they still only pick and choose who to help in class. they do not care about students mental health nor anything other than good grades. they always say that it is the students fault for why they are getting bad grades never blame the teacher on how they teach. not very good in my opinion 😬
