I’ve called several times and sent multiple emails over the past two weeks requesting a simple meeting with the SENCO — yet I’ve had no response at all. With a placement deadline looming, the complete lack of engagement has been incredibly disappointing.
It’s hard not to feel like my son, who has potential additional needs, simply isn’t welcome here. For a school rated ‘Outstanding’, this experience has been anything but — especially when it comes to inclusion.
If you’re a parent of a child with SEND, I’d suggest looking into other schools where genuine inclusion is reflected not just in policies, but in how families are treated.
as a former student I would love to leave this review. this is a great primary school and would recommend. when I was there I thought differently mainly because I was younger but now that I look back it was never as bad as I had made it out to be back then. the food was great. they have great facilities and equipment. overall a great school. the teachers are amazing.
