An utter, disgraceful excuse of a school with ludicrous management!

St Hilary is the worst place to send your child unless you hate them. Recently, the school has introduced controlling, strict rules that seem like they came straight out of a prison! They have this thing called track the speaker where you have to look at the teacher the whole time when they are teaching which seems normal until you realise that 2/3 of the school are neurodivergent and struggle with paying attention. These people care more about how the kids look instead of how they are feeling or need support. It’s breakfast club staff that treat children like pieces of litter living on the floor. When it’s time for the children to go out , they make them tidy the whole room when they are the ones who get paid to do it.The children just sit there with toys that are from the 1900s which smell of mould (and I’m being literal :/). There’s this TA (Let’s call her Rusty Keys) who acts like a dictator, shouting at young students who are still in Reception exploring their environment for making tiny mistakes such as putting their bags in the wrong places or even just existing! In my opinion, if you are thinking of your child to move here then DONT. There are better places in the Penzance area to send your child/children with far more opportunities then this horrible dump!
