THE WORST SCHOOL IN GREENWICH
This school is absolutely ridiculous. After their APALLING Ofsted report, the headteacher, SLTs, and Pastoral lessons have done absolutely nothing but pressure student to behave well with a variety of drastic punishments. Girls have been pulled out of lessons by Mariea Clifford and various others and put into isolation for the most PATHETIC reasons. As if wasting their learning time will fix the reports. Parents and Carers DO NOT bring your daughter to this school.
In need of new leadership
So unbelievably disappointed by this school. They have let out daughter down. Constant teacher strikes during 2023/24 - now pushing 20 days of strikes. The recent Ofsted rating of Requires Improvement is very apt, and fundamentally the senior leadership are responsible for low morale among teaching staff. I wouldn't recommend this school while the current senior leadership are in situ.
The real truth about St Ursulas (do NOT send your child here)
If you have a choice PLEASE don't send your child to this school. Countless fights (Someone got their arm dislocated) , big groups always pushing and shoving JUST TO GET FOOD. There are barely any decent people. Always gossiping, roasting each other and there is alot of swearing. Don't even get me started on how many supply teachers we get. Horrendous. Our headteacher barely does anything. They also have EXTREMELY poor communication and even worse security. It is so easy to climb the fence or even press a button on the gate to get in or out. Again bringing up the big groups. If you don't 'fit' in that group the ask why you are even there, or they call you whitey behind your back. And some like to cause hell to the teachers, causing a massive decline to what we actually learn in the lesson. The teachers are average but some are just plain BAD. They give you detention if you speak once, you cant speak in the line or you get detention. If the break is over even if you just got your food, you can't eat it, you just have to shove it in your bag, even if it ruins it. They don't care. People who wear literal studs are told to take it off because it isnt 'up to standard'. Also, you want your kid to do DT right? As a parent you would want your child to engage in either DT, Art or foodtech. Well sorry to break it to you, but DT is the same as art in this school. Not tech involed or design! You just focus on natural forms for almost every single lesson. And me and countless others dont even get to enjoy foodtech. Take it from me. you do NOT want your child in this school.
Miss Hamilton
I attended St Ursula’s school from years 2012-2017. Miss warnock was the first head teacher I had until year 8 who was utterly amazing and I cannot fault. Sadly during my last 3 years miss Hamilton joined, the woman who destroyed my years at the school. I’m now 22 and reflecting on my anger and resentment to this school. I’ve just graduated from the university of sussex with a geography and international development degree. Im just so glad they have a new head mistress and hopfully no other student will have the same experience that me and my twin sister received. She truly was an awful horrid woman and I hope she lives out her retirement and rethinks why and how she treated teenage girls.

St Ursulas, I'm utterly digusted on how a "outstanding" school can go downhill in a click with just a new head teacher this is unacceptable. Students get threatened by teachers and today my child came home saying how half of Gabriella Simon's form got threatened with behaviour points just because they were late to form but Gabriella didn't even allow those people to explain why they were late. And the reason for them being late is that Ms Irvine had to hold them back for some time because they had to clean up after using clay. And these staff aren't doing anything good except for some of them you "staff members" just send people to R&R ruining the children's secondary life and mental health

St Ursula is a disgusting dirty school and the new headteacher is confused and silly she believes she knows what she is doing. My child always comes home hungry due to their or I believe her stupid lunchtime table students get lunch at 1:50 and only get 10 mins to eat the school is filthy and full of rats and EIGHT students got suspended for talking in class I am planning on pulling out my child from this filthy school and away from their confused headteacher do not bring your child here. they are no good teachers and my daughter is complaining telling me she is only getting cover lessons because all the good teachers left seeing how bad the school's system is OFSTED CHECK ON ST URSULA AGAIN THEY ARE NOWHERE NEAR OUTSTANDING.

My daughter is a student at St Ursula's Convent School she utterly hates it. I sent her to this school because it was once one of the best in Greenwich and Im sure never again this school has been turned to smithereens since their new headmistress has appeared she has threatened many pupils and has suspended EIGHT students for talking.TALKING?What nonsense.. If you are looking for schools to apply to please DON'T APPLY TO ST URSULA'S CONVENT SCHOOL. I promise you you do not want your daughters going to this school that is slowly turning into a living hell.My daughter made a comment about MR TURPIE and how he calls students names and critisizes them for an example my daughter told me that he picked on her for "Raising her hand to much in lessons" which i sware is what your supposed to do to show your understanding in the lesson He also called students stupid, idiot and failures.. All of the teachers are extremly evil and i hope you dont decide this school for your daughter. xx
The truth behind St Ursula's
This school CANNOT control their students. The headteacher, although I doubt you can even call her that is not helping the school whatsoever. Children are being pulled out of classes just to be shouted at her. It makes no difference. Now they're even suspending students just for talking, as if giving them behaviour points without proper reason wasn't bad enough. I am frequently seeing fight videos which students have posted online and parents have tried to confront the school but there has been no response. As for those who have gone to St Ursulas in person to speak about teachers etc, the school shuts them out. There is also a huge bullying issue at this school where students are being harassed unfairly by both teachers and students. Nothing is has been done to permanently stop that. Rat infestations are a safety hazard which has just been ignored by higher ups. Students don't even get actual teachers anymore. This has been going on for so long the school gave up giving them lesson and just handed out textbooks for them to learn. Yes, because your students are going to learn the same amount as their other peers from a clueless supply teacher and even more useless workbook. That's if they do any work at all. I am genuinely concerned for the education these students are receiving as it is clearly not on par with their peers attending other schools. With the direction the school is heading, exam scores will significantly drop, students mental health will decline and the only people bearing the consequences are their pupils.

Do better St ursulas
This school has brought my daughter so many troubles it is unforgivable and feel it is my duty to write this. St ursulas has never been great at handling mental health issues but always had an upstanding education yet these past 3 years it's education has failed. With cover teachers in every other lesson. Aswell as not even having teachers to get an education in the first place St ursulas prides themselves with punishing students when they are visibly in dire need of help. My daughter went through many struggles that was infact reported to the school and the help I got was many suspensions for the most idiotic reasons such as skipping a detention. Instead of helping her at her worst St ursulas told me that she would do well in a centre as to get a break from her struggles. The school has shown me no interest of even trying to help and the teachers ,bless them, who were the kindest souls have all left and there is no hope for St ursulas until they get a reality check that you can not get your students to listen to you by giving them no respect and suspending them at their worst. Do better

DO NOT COME TO THIS SCHOOL. THIS SCHOOL HAS GONE DOWN HILL EVER SINCE THE NEW HEAD TEACHER CAME. SHE HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT USELESS . CHILDREN ARE NOT GETTING THE PROPER EDUCATION THEY NEED. MOST CHILDREN DON’T EVEN HAVE TEACHERS ITS ALWAYS COVER TEACHERS. WE NEED MR INNOCENT BACK . THIS HEAD TEACHER HAS CAUSED US NOTHING BUT PAIN AND ITS UTTERLY DISGUSTING . FIX THE SCHOOL UP OR CLOSE DOWN THE SCHOOL. HOW CAN 8 I REPEAT 8 STUDENTS GET SUSPENDED FOR TALKING? SHE HAS DONE NOTHING BUT THREATEN THEM AND SHOUTING AT THE WHOLE SCHOOL FOR 10 MINUTES.

This school is absolutely appalling. I am shocked to see how behaviour has declined in such a short time period. This new headmistress doesn’t know how to maintain a school, threatening to suspend students over small things isn't the way to make children do the right thing, children are just going to be less motivated to go to school. All the teachers have left after seeing how horribly the school has control over students, resulting in covers for most lessons.

ST URSULAS
I have a daughter that goes here I can’t watch her come home everyday slowly telling me how more teachers are leaving or that EIGHT students were suspended for talking in class. This just shows they don’t know what they are doing and they can’t fix the problem so they just suspended students.
ST URSULAS NEED A CHANGE
My daughter attends the school it is horrible staff have no respect.the headteacher threatening pupils rats around the school not enough teaching staffs .school does not care whatsoever about your child’s mental health they’ll just tell them to suck it up it is really appalling to see a school crumble down as it was once ,one of the best schools in Greenwich after the present headteacher came everything has gone down hill.
'Outstanding' according to Ofsted
Most of the teachers are brilliant and there are plenty of opportunites like after school clubs. Sometimes they don't deal with issues particularly well, at least that's how the student body feels. It is rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted and I would be inclined to agree with that, but of course there are some issues, so I have given it a four star rating. Some of these, such as lack of teachers, were brought on by covid, however.
