TERRIBLE TEACHING PROGRAM

This school is terrible teacher have no clue have to deal with children the attitude from teachers is do as your told or get punished.

What kind of school treats children worse then prisoners get treated it’s disgusting

This school takes on children with disabilities just for extra funding but then lets that child with disabilities get picked on and bullied by teachers and students of the school.

Education in this school is the more money your family has the better education you get.

We’re did the founding come from for the locks on toilets and all the extra cctv cameras most likely from the school education budget with locks and cctv has nothing to do with education of children.

Uniform is so expensive my children get punished as I’m unable to afford every part of it all because it has school logo the price doubled with is a joke.

Not fit for purpose

Terrible school with unprofessional so called teachers unprofessional and childish behaviour from sen. Show no compassion towards children with metal health and don't follow recommendations from camhs or any diagnosis the child has in place including an EHCP. We found the prescot school courses mental health in both children and parents. God knows how ofsted deem them so good from reports of cherry picked pupils that are guided to answer questions. If you complain it goes unheared and ends up in personal attacks from sen with the goal of professional meetings. Contradicting instructions from sen. This school is above the law and recommend the local authorities to fine you. Pupils time tabled for lessons to be told no room then giving reflexion for not being in class. Head teacher has a pr who again dosnt phone back to discuss problems with so called professional staff. Avoid like the plague. Don't be so cruel to you children by even thinking of sending them hear for a half harted limited education. If your child has mental health is ortistic suffers from adhd then please think twice.

disgusting

kids are disgusting there, i hear people being called slurs and i dont see the staff do anything about it? the staff dont do anything but walk around and shout at you for the incorrect uniform. am i allowed to go the toilet? no because apparently they ‘cant allow you out’ its not likely the school will burn down if you let one kid with bladder problems go the toilet is it? most of the teachers should NOT be working with kids with the amount of attitude they possess. ive seen my school be on many lists of the merseyside: worst schools and i cant blame them, !dont send your kids to this school, just horrifying here!

this school is truly awful.

i joined this school in 2019. i was 11 and going through things at home which i would rather not put up for everyone to see.

year 7 started off great. i had an older brother in the school too, which made it better.

things at home went downhill and that greatly effected my performance at school, i acted out and i understand now that it wasn’t good.

but the school knew what was going on. they knew what was happening because of social services and police, i had a mentor in the school too, (mrs berry), who would ‘help’ sometimes.

throughout the 6 months i was there i was treated awfully.

covid happened, and i came back in year 8 (there were bubbles). I made a promise to myself that i would be good and put the effort in.

when i came in on the first day, i was excluded. they had no consideration to anybody, and didn’t realise that a group of 12 year olds couldn’t just come back and act like we hadn’t been out of school for half a year.

we weren’t used to the rules anymore.

in december, i made an attempt on my life. I was out of school and in hospital, and while i was there, my head of year (mrs baykal) asked my best friend if she knew where i was, and then when she said no, (my privacy, she knew) my head of year told her.

i went back to school and my mental health was deteriorating even more, they had no consideration. they didn’t care for the students, just the image.

in february i made two more attempts on my life. i was put out of school (by them) until october 2021.

when i went back, things had changed. a new head teacher, a new system.

i really gave it my all.

my mentor, previously mentioned, really did nothing to help me. one time, after lunch me and my best friend were locked out of the gates (still on school grounds, didn’t hear the bell) and we went through the main office.

I needed to go to pastoral for a slip to explain why i was late, and mrs berry followed me after seeing me at the main office, and followed me to my lesson, because she ‘didn’t trust me’.

countless times, i was put in remove.

remove is a big room with desks along the edge of every wall, with wood seperating the chairs&desks. you’re not allowed to talk, move, make noise, etc. set bathroom times.

one day, i was having a panic attack and was forced to skip a lesson. i didn’t want to ask them for help. another girl skipped the whole day (in school) and nothing happened. i was put in remove.

they tried to get a behavioural order put on me, which would just put more money in their pockets.

eventually, my mum took me out of the school in december 2021.

this school gave me no life skills. i hope you see by the way i write, and the words that i use (as a 14 year old) that im smart enough to know what im talking about.

nothing this school did helped me.

they watched my mental health deteriorate and put it down as just another ‘naughty kid.’

PLEASE. do not send your kids here.

Disgusted

The school has gone down hill the last 2 years. It’s hard work trying to speak to someone high up in the school to resolve a situation. I have children with separate medical conditions that requires to leave the class room when they need to (medical Documents have been provided to the school for proof) and I’ve come to learn that this is becoming an issue again and that communication is very poor.
I would not recommend this school to any parents wishing for their child to join. I also feel that teachers are not equipped to understand children with additional needs. Not every child should have to go to a SEN school. I truly believe if teachers had a better understanding and did yearly training it would become better

Don't bother!!!

As someone who sat 5 years in this school with on going headteacher change I can testify that no teacher cares about the well being of their students.

Going through 3 headteacher changes and still no progress to be made, the learning would always be at its lowest to point lessons would just be sit off and so anything you want to do basically, Many teacher's don't bother to cover the full module's and tend to rush through it to just get it done with, Surviving the covid bubbles it showed how really it is most teacher's didn't bother to fully educate the subjects and even some would just give in and let us watch movies to kill time.

The school preaches its "Diversity & Anti-Bullying" however its all a mass lie, As someone who got through those 2 things only help I ever received was "we will separate use" only separate? Not even educate the other person about what they have done is wrong and not acceptable.

Personally don't send your kids here they'll have hardest time send them to school that may be further away however it'll be better for their wellbeing & education.

I would rather kill myself.

Absolutely terrible.

No I wasnt the best behaved but thats because after a couple of years I would not be spoken down to the way these teachers do.

They treat you like a hamster in a cage you dont even have to freedom to go to the bathroom when you need to (they get locked) or even take your blazer off if its too hot.

Ms K (english) is super immature acts like she is fresh into year 7 and definitely needs to go through teacher training again.

Ms W (science) will make up anything to get you suspended/kicked out if you have annoyed her in anyway.

My main problem with these 2 people is that they will create a personal problem with a student and the school completely backs them with it. They will claim you have said things you haven’t and even make inappropriate comments themselves. The worst thing about this is when you make a request to the school to check on the cameras they simply say the audio “doesnt work” how is this aloud? a teacher could mentaly abuse a student but because the audio “doesnt work” they get away with this.

Dont send your kids here because I can promise you they will 100% come out worse and more mentaly damaged than when they started there.

They could not care about any mental issues you have going on that may affect the way you react to situations, you are simply just labeled a naughty kid and will then spend majority of your time outside lessons and in isolation or remove (2 things which are awful ways of punishment, I would personally just stay home when I got given either of these because teachers would not give you work and you would just have to sit there in silence with nothing to do for majority of the day).

Honestly Id say the school needs knocking down and most teachers in there should not be aloud to work with kids anymore.

The ONLY good thing about the school was the cheese salad bagettes so thats why I gave it a 4 in food.

Gross in general

They gloat about how they handle bullying and diversity but barley have any and igorne the bullying, to top it all of they constantly reward the bad kids with trips but give the actual well behaving kids a simply pat on the back. You could be mentally falling and they'd tell you to focus on work

WARNING!

This "school" is absolutely terrible, they do not care about any of the students physical or mental health

I know from experience as I confided in the school and told them I was having suicidal thoughts and all they did was tell me to go to A&E, they did absolutely nothing to ease my experience at school or to make me comfortable in any way, as soon as the day passed it was almost as if I never told them
I was also subject to homophobia from multiple teachers at that school

None of the teachers encourage you to do anything more than the bare minimum to pass and because of this there is a severe lack of students who pass their gcses, they do not allow you to take off your blazer outside of class, regardless of temperature or any mental or physical health condition

If you need to go home for any reason they always just say "go to next lesson and see how you are" regardless of the situation

This is one of the worst places you can send your child!
