Very disappointed in the school

The students in this school have complex needs and need a lot of support, unfortunately serendipity doesn't offer a lot of support, the school staff claim they help the students with as much as they can but my daughter has severe mental health and the school haven’t provided they could help my daughter with her needs they seem to make it worse, the school is supposed to help children with there communication skills but the school can’t communicate them selfs, the school are supposed to help with complex needs but they don’t. The staff claim they have good PE lessons but all they do is take them for a walk, the students are not getting a good education because there is always students making nose in the hall way and the staff allow this to happen witch then distracts others who are trying to do there lessons, I went for a meeting about my daughter and the head teacher was talking about a previous student who had not long left (who my daughter is best friends with)and was saying bad things about the other student witch are not true. My daughter dose not feel safe in this school with the amount of bullying and racism in the school witch the staff allow to happen there are no consequences in place, students attack my child and others and the school don’t do anything about it. The way some staff treat my daughter makes her feel unliked and unwanted in that school, a few staff members act like they are children and will argue with my daughter like they are big children and the staff need to grow up with the way they do things in this school.the school staff are never permanent people are leaving all the time witch makes it hard for the children to have connections, some school staff are only in a few days s week or on half days witch makes it hard for students to make connections and to feel safe, the staff are nit aloud to talk about other students(mentioning there names)to parents or carers because of confidentiality but unfortunately they do. The way the staff deal with situations is not appropriate, I’ve heard a few things that a few staff members will take students for a walk and will be smoking in front of that student witch i think is disgusting. The staff are very unprofessional and refuse to be near some students because of the way that child reacts but the staff needs to remember that the child they don’t want to be near has needs that need to be looked after, a mail staff member at this school is angry s lot if the time and scares my child because he will be angry near them witch isn’t fair on the children,The school use to be a good school but unfortunately went down hill a lot I’m very disappointed!!

Not the best

I would say they don’t give children enough opportunities to thrive in learning and underestimate them they don’t offer much emotional support and aren’t very great at dealing with Autism, ADHD and mental ill health don’t send your child to this school if they require a lot of support as they won’t receive it
