Checks

Staff are kind. Gum under tables and Chairs.
Dirty floors. Teachers repeat lessons.
Dangerous environment.
YONDR is a stupid idea.

a LONG review over some key things.

as a former student, here is my general opinion:
the school is somewhat strict, the school admin decides to enforce ridiculous rules without consulting anybody beforehand then they act SHOCKED when something (such as a protest) happens…After said protest they decide to SHOUT at everyone in assembly shaming us for doing something they(we) believe in, uniform rules are unnecessary and seem somewhat weird, the school teachers always talk about being unique, different and expressing yourself but yet when the students try to show any sort of style the punishment is to either give a detention or a negative point? this isn’t how encouraging works, these mostly happen because of the "school uniform policy" which doesn’t allow these alteration. the schoolteachers can be nice! it’s the admin that’s the problem.
another thing I must add is the EQUIPMENT, most classrooms have insanely bad quality items in it- such as: tables, chairs, stools etc., some even have dents, holes and rude scribbles all over it- another note: IF YOURE GOING TO HAVE A STOOL DONT MAKE THE TABLE LOW! if we want to rest our heads on our hand while doing work we end up having a hunchback which is unhealthy for spines.
another thing to add is the phone rules...oh boy...do I even need to say anything to explain? students don’t need a little flappy magnetic pouch in order to make them focus, they need engaging teachers that can MAKE them interested in the lesson- the pouches also added MORE problems than before (EG: locking, checking, magnet unlocker being stolen sometimes? literal SEARCHES just to find someone who didn’t lock their phone..which i doubt is being used anyways + is a violation of privacy to the student! just say you don’t trust your students instead..) however, one positive is the food (sometimes) which most of the time has a varied option of treats and snacks and warm meals, which did look tasty and pleased mostly everyone! love how nice and sweet the canteen staff are, it makes everyone feel welcomed :) HOWEVER! the school bathroom rules are so to say..stupid.. Not allowing students to have basic rights to use the bathroom when they need is just cruel in my opinion, or even making them WAIT until lessons end (usually 2 hours) then questioning why they didn’t go to the bathroom at break/lunch is horrific, the bathrooms are always crowded as everyone needs to go by that time so you don’t even have enough time to do so.
to conclude:
- the school admin needs to COMMUNICATE before enforcing a rule.
- the phone rule is useless.
- the uniform policy doesn’t allow anyone to express themselves
- the food/canteen is lovely!
- the bathroom rule needs to losen up.
thank you for reading it all, im mostly ranting however i do think some of these points are important.

it’s okay

i dread going to school everyday, i get called names/slurs by other students and a teacher will just scold them and do nothing more. i am autistic so i struggle at school, the school lets me have ear defenders and use a retreat card to go to the wlc but if i go too much they get angry. a lot teachers are nice but they teach in a way that’s hard to learn. i feel like more people have a good chance at succeeding in learning here whilst kids who misbehave / any child who has anxiety etc have less chance because they are overlooked as people who don’t want to be there and or are scared to ask for help so don’t get any. i feel unsafe around certain people at school. i think the teachers do try to improve stuff for the students but they are just bad at it
classrooms are very often loud and feel like i’m in the trenches during ww1 sometimes ngl. the clubs are great and good environments hence why i go to them often

Warriner (and other schools) sucks.

Every living moment in this place is literally like being in hell.

Y I hate warriner ♡♡

I find that the warriner school is very poor due to the lack of discipline to bad students and that most teachers are scary to be around as they have bad relationships with other pupils and or other members of staff. Although the overall appearance of outdoor areas are appealing there will usually be rubbish, fights and rude behaviour. Therefore I rate the warriner school a 3/10.

With love- from anonymous ♡♡

A terrible school

The school is just absolutely terrible the teachers are not particularly good at there jobs however some are excluded from that list as a few are amazing, but the vast majority are terrible for example ms keys and ms Nichols are one of the worst offenders of being the most hated teachers, a lot of the class rooms can be compared to a war zone and not to say a lot of students hate the school due to the strict rules and regulations and also expectations presented to them by upstuck teachers

My opinion on my current school 🏫

I have to deal with bullying, sexual assault and so much more but the wlc try there best to help. I rated this average as 1,the sub teachers don't deserve to even be teachers, 2. The students are constantly loud and ignored of what they want and 3. It has some good qualities.

The Warriner School

Overall, good teaching. Some teachers lack the ability to deal with discipline so there are multiple chaotic lessons with, for example, kids standing on tables and throwing books out of a second floor window when it's raining. Deal with bullying quickly and efficiently when informed about it.
