Horrible

This school gets a lot of praise for its academic success, while I agree with that the other parts of the school are horrible.
There are some students who even though they have maybe 1 detention get searched because they "look suspicious"
The amount of pressure put on the students is inhumane, people's mental health declining all because they want to keep their reputation.
Then there's the food, yes it can sometimes be nice, it is insanely unhealthy and the portions are tiny especially in comparison to the ridiculous prices.
There is so much more to say but I wouldn't even know where to start

This School Needs Improving

this school has a lot of bullying in it and I'm one of those many victims and just because the people that re bullying me is special they don't get a sanction. There is loads of vaping in this school and when you walk into the toilets you are overwhelmed with red apple ice and blueberry lemonade and I just want to breathe air. A lot of the teachers need the sack but there are quite a few excellent teacher eg Mrs Payley, Miss Knowles, miss Byrne. A lot of the students in the school are alright but there is a fair few who think they're above everyone else and want to hurt you. The food is actually really good though and the people who run the restaurant are extremely nice people. There is loads of things to outside of school hours though with loads of wider curriculum clubs such as football, cricket and basketball just to name a few. The teachers in the PE department are lovely as well.

Very poor

The school may look aesthetically pleasing on the outside but that is deceiving. They only care about uniform and whether you have your coat on indoors. They don't care about bullying or behaviour. You can even wash your hands after using the toilet or taking a science lesson as there has been no hot water in half of the school since June.

Terrible

Absolutely terrible school. School cares more about grades than well being. High bullying rate. Well being staff only care about students who are popular or disruptive. Unrealistic expectations of children and very little good teachers

School review

Students continuously harassed, yet the school system refuse to provide the necessary help and mental health support to those in need. Being a student myself, i was never bullied, however I've been a close witness and after several meetings with the school in an attempt to gain an understanding over the situations, I came to the conclusion that the people in control that 'keep your children safe' will constantly disregard the issues at hand and deliberately make every attempt to redirect the blame off of themselves onto the students in the firing line of bullies. This has lead MANY students to have a serious lack of trust in the school and the vast majority of these students resort to staying at home due to the schools incapability of keeping students safe. Tudor Grange is a good school based off its expected and annual grades, but as a student who has witnessed consistent bullying of people for all reasons (sexuality, race, gender, weight etc.) I would seriously recommend to parents that you take a closer look into the details of the school OUTSIDE of the school internet pages as they are extremely good at covering up any evidence against the school in order to maintain a good 'clean' reputation. I joined this school in year 7 and unfortunately, I admit that this school was the worst experience of my life, and I would've taken any opportunity to leave in an instant.

Horrible

Unnecessary rules (eg. no coats indoors, one way stairs system). Most teachers that don’t teach science subjects are unreasonable.

Not good.

I went here for years 7-11. Faced constant bullying which the school did not attend to. Their treatment of LGBT kids is awful. Telling parents about their sexuality etc is appalling. The teachers are decent for grades but that's about it. There's a total of 4 teachers I'd ever reccomend a child going to for help. They focus an AWFUL amount on mental health without ever addressing the stress THEY cause. Most of my peers were severely depressed by the time they left. Don't get me wrong. It's great if you want results and some people have had happy stories here. However the typical "outcast" students can fall and suffer

Awful

Strict teachers, awful uniform regulations.
