DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS TO THIS SCHOOL CHOOSE OTHER LOCAL SCHOOLS
So I am a Y6 student who joined in Y3 and in my 4-5 years there its been awful especially the SEN provision the issue with the SEN provision is that its not very good they will only care or take you kid more seriously if they have a severe condition And my mother has spoken with other SEN parents since I have ASD and the parents say they either had to have several meetings with the headmistress or go balistic on her and in Y5 they promised me all this stuff for my autism but they never gave it to me.
The food/catering
the food at TPA is awful because the food is cheap low quality and not healthy and using companies that make outrageous claims because a company they used said ''our school dinners are 55% healthier than a packed lunch'' but in reality they are serving the children low quality fatty foods and some of my classmates have found intresting items in their food in Y3 one of my friends found a peice of metal in his meatballs and a diffrent friend found a peice of glass in her youghurt because the school buys a massive tub of youghurt and then put them into glass cups and the food made a classmate throw up and resulted them in going home.
The toxicness from students and staff
now not all students and staff are toxic just some are because some students can be highly racist or offensive and once I got called a awful slur and the headmistress changed the school script and I asked her why she did it i was just curious and she said ''Because im just mean like that'' and in Y5 a girl told me you should get over it about a relative killing themselves.
the black mould
on the cealing right in the atrium is black mould we thought it may have been dirty from dirty footballs but its not
the school is on really bad budget cuts
for regular school trips we litreally can't leave london the furthest i ever went outside of london with my was is surrey because before we had our current principal our previous one was much better and year 6 got to go to wales but at the time i was in y3.
conclusion
I would not reccomend this school to parents whos kid is going to reception or switching schools or new teachers that want a new job instead go for other local schools they are much better
“I had a deeply disappointing experience at Twickenham Primary Academy, and I would not recommend it to parents, staff, or anyone seeking a fair and supportive educational environment.
One of the major issues at this school is the lack of proper facilities and support for children with behavioral needs and special educational needs (SEN). The school does not seem equipped to handle these challenges, and instead of providing necessary interventions, they fail to support students appropriately. This is concerning for parents who rely on schools to accommodate their children’s needs.
As a staff member, I also encountered serious issues with how management treats employees. False accusations and misinformation were spread about me, which created a toxic work environment. There is a clear lack of professionalism, and instead of addressing concerns directly, leadership fosters a culture of fear and intimidation.
Additionally, I was shocked to learn that staff phone conversations were being listened to during break times. This is a clear invasion of privacy and creates an atmosphere of distrust. No workplace should engage in such practices, and it raises serious ethical concerns about how the school is run.
Overall, Twickenham Primary Academy does not foster an inclusive, professional, or supportive environment for either students or staff. I strongly advise parents, teachers, and other professionals to look elsewhere for a school that truly values integrity, fairness, and proper support for students with additional needs.”
