Upper Wharfedale School

The education was a disgrace as we had different teachers teaching different things, staff was horrible including a chemistry teacher calling girls prostetutes(who didn’t get punished for it) teachers making comments about students with toilet passes, making students feel embarrassed,I had many problems in this school and no one bothered to help me, bullied all the way through year 10 and the school did nothing because these were there favourite students , the teachers always made comments about students mental health problems, and certainly don’t join any committees as teachers don’t do any of the work and give u bare minimum help even if when needed most, most of the teachers don’t actually want to be there and don’t do their job properly, if think of sending your child here, make the right decision and don’t, have no clue how they have outstanding ofsted inspection as all the teachers suddenly turned nice on that one day and turned into the disgusting disgrace they are the next day, don’t do it in warning you.

Horrific school. When Andrew Taylor was the headteacher, there were lots of issues. As a past student the school turned a blind eye to the abuse I was suffering at home and bullying in the school as they didn’t have enough care for their students. The way I was treated in this school by the teachers and pupils led me to bad mental health (eating disorder which I still suffer from at 18) and a suicide attempt to which I received no support from inside the school. After missing many months of school to recover they blamed me. Minors nudes also get leaked around and the teachers don’t do anything. Insufferable school where farmers send their ill behaved children/ children who don’t pass the 11+.
