Wish i didnt send my child here
My daughter got posted on a school TikTok account with horrible photos and the school blamed it on my daughter and had no consequences for the girl who made the account, there has been numerous of times where teachers have made my daughter feel like education isnt for her, never helped her in anything and even said horrible things to her face and behind her back to the class. Additionally boys constantly used to create awful comments towards her in which me and my daughter notified the school about multiple times and they did little to nothing, and due to her having numerous toilet issues she has been “banned” from using the toilets at lunch and break and if she is found in one she gets a after school detention, bare in mind children are not allowed to go to the toilet any other time during the school day.

horrible, making the yr11 kids eat break and lunch outside in this cold weather not being allowed inside while the younger years eat inside and have even bigger portions of food and dessert on top of that when the year 11s get a small dry chicken burger with dry fries in a plastic container kids
aren’t allowed to go to the toilet at lunch and break with out teachers complaining that they are taking to long sometimes they even will not let you go to the toilets and this is just crazy as students aren’t even allowed to go in lesson aswell some of the staff are so rude to the children too and not being understanding of toilet use. Additionally staff complain about girls jewellery but female staff can have as much pericings as they want and complain that the year11s are supposed to be setting an example to the younger years but they are the adults and if they set rules for students to not be allowed to express themselves they shouldn’t either because it’s hypocritical and unfair. Let me not even start with the first aid it is absolutely horrendous it’s closed half the time and when it’s open they don’t even do anything to help like with simple things such as giving plasters to students,students can’t even go themselves to say what’s wrong but have to wait for slt to tell them and they won’t if they think it’s not serious enough for THE SLTS opinion like one time a student experienced a period leak she went to first aid it was locked so she asked a member of slt for help they said “it’s not that serious” and left a young girl in bloody underwear for the rest of the day. Now on to the teachers of the school there has been numerous amounts of times where teachers have acted completely out of place one example being a teacher emptying a students pencil case and emptying their bag and throwing it outside the classroom making the student go pick it up because they lost their temper another one being a teacher making a young girl jump up and down for her report in the classroom while I was just him and her, there’s also times where with numerous of black students where teachers will just accuse them of something and then when they are just standing up for themselves they are called aggressive and saying that they’re being rude when communicating in a calm manner like one time a black female student was crying in the bathroom because her period was hurting she went to first aid and they did do anything and it hurts too much for her to go to class so she stayed in the bathroom then teachers found her in the bathroom as they were looking for a nother student who was bunking but found her instead She tried to explain what happened and the teachers started calling her aggressive and saying that she was being rude while she was explaining when crying as she was not raising her voice. there was another incident with another student where something happened and the school had to get involved as was with two students but they got one of the students wrong and told the whole story to different student and embarrassed the other one and they never apologised and they basically blamed it on the student also making the students mother cry.

Westfield is a great school.
I am a parent. My child is safe, she has a good selection of subjects to choose from. She has a sport. Physical activity is encouraged through girls get active. There is a strong commitment to learning from the teachers. The leaders are strong advocates of good behaviour. I love to see them on the outside of the school in the morning ensuring order as students arrive. However I would love to see more spaces for self study after school. There was a homework club introduced but it seems to be cancelled every week.

Stuff need more education
If you do care about your child future don't send them to this school.My daughter used to go to school everyday and they teach her how she can escape the school by putting her on PART TIME and at the end of part time my daughter said I don't want to go back to the school ,They didn't help her to come back to school they advised me to move her school which was the best options for them not my daughter.Thanks to Westfield Accademy now my daughter doesn't do any study.
Horrific
In particular one member of staff who goes by the name Sajida Choudhary. This teacher bullied me from when I began sixth form all the way until the end, she made me feel like a total idiot and didn’t really care about anything other than making sure that everything “seemed” right. She never allowed students to go to the toilet which is ridiculous! She had a book with all the students names on and each year each student had one pass to go to the toilet if you used it, well no more toilet breaks for you. That’s just one problem. But moving on, my treatment from her was just insensitive and horrific. She singled me out making me feel like a total idiot, she accused me of cheating in an exam which I didn’t cheat in. And to make it worse, she’s head of social sciences and didn’t find a teacher who should have covered for my psychology teacher who was pregnant. Everyone knew my teacher was pregnant at the beginning of the year, but this “head of social sciences” didn’t seem to care about anything other than HER class. She split the original psychology class in half which was pretty much in to dumb and smart - she took the best performing students and dumped the other ones in to another class. When my teacher left for maternity leave Sajida went on to combine the class a month later. My class was left without a teacher in year 13 which was a months worth of content not known. When we asked what would happen for the missed lessons she responded we should teach ourselves. She is an insensitive, horrible, and unkind person. She should’ve never been a teacher.

Westfield is a low quality school with uniform.As the uniform breaks easily.My sons who is in year 7, told me that his pe bag zip wasn't working.Also he said that his socks ripped when he was doing pe.I do not recommend this school,and the pe uniform is a waste of money.

I genuinely wanted to kms everytime I stepped into this school 💀 the cooks dropped a pizza on the floor and put it back on display and one of the teachers PHYSICALLY pushed my friend because a lot of people were pushing and they pushed her into her on accident and they denied it when around 30 students saw it

Good Education, Horrible Personal Experience
I got a decent education from Westfield, and I loved most of my teachers! The issue is I dreaded school every day. I wasn’t being bullied or anything, but something about the school made me so unhappy - I felt like it drained away all the happiness from me. The stress from it all made me so unwell that the days I was in I felt horrible and struggled to learn, and the days I wasn’t in, I wished I’d never have to go back.
With all this I must mention that I got counselling in my last few months of being at school and it was so helpful and brilliant. The counsellor, Kate, is one I wish I could still see now that I’m at college.
