Why it should stop being a school

It is terrible they don't help you and they don't let you go to toilet during lesson

Withernsea High School Review

For the time I spent at Withernsea, it was enjoyable. There was supportive people around me and the teachers were competent enough to teach a secondary school however some couldn't keep the class under control under any circumstances.

They don't handle bullying too well in all honesty. Bullying happens in every school as children from all backgrounds are mixing so there'll be conflict but it depends on how a school handles it which matters. Withernsea High doesn't do that unfortunately. People around me got picked on and bullied and after they told the school they didn't do much. Cyberbullying also doesn't get resolved even if it involves students from the school as it's "out of school". Bullying in 2018 was very big in Withernsea School and resulted in a teenage boy being put into a comatose state.

The academics at the school are good but not excellent. During my time at Withernsea I was moved from set 3 to set 1 in English, Maths and Science. The reason it's not excellent is because currently the school isn't doing sets at the moment. I still have relations who go to Withernsea High and they have confirmed that both Maths, English and Science have mixed sets.

Honestly, the food was one of the best things at this school. From wraps to cottage pie and crumpets to cheesy bagels, there was always food for everyone. In year 10 you can go into the town however people still prefered to stay in at lunch and eat the school meals. The deserts were amazing too. The cakes and other deserts could be with or without custard. That's one of the things I miss most about Withernsea High.

The clubs were good as well. I'm unsure if they still do it however in 2019 they had a sting ensamble club. They also had: anime club, french club, dance club, music club (seperate to sting ensamble club), drama club, food club and gym club.

Overall, it was an okay school.
