A primary School should set you up for life yet going to Woodland Grange caused me much trauma that I still think about this now as an adult. when I was in year one I was shouted at so badly by a teacher who went bizzerk on me after my book that I handed in for review was full of scribbles. In the moments before another student took my book and started scribbling on it; another kids so what he was doing and joined in and they were having the time of their lives. as a shy kid I did not say anything and did not know how to react. I then took my book to the teacher who instead of asking me why this occurred shouted at me. She threatened to report this to my parent. She didn’t do the due diligence as a teacher, and shouted at an innocent child. she probably shouted at me more because she had race bias because when I was at this school it was equal whites to people of colour and all teachers were white so she was clearly more evil towards me.
Also when a kid was bullying me of the same race as the teachers they turned a blind eye and whenever I stood up for myself they came to me like A bull in a china shop because they wanted to protect their own so much.
I hope karma gets these teachers and individuals that were bullying because they have been looking after each other in the most despicable way by showing favouritism to bad-minded children just because they are of the same race.
This was my childhood primary school and decades on I still suffer from PTSD from my childhood experiences. From the off from joining the school at aged five I was severely bullied - not only by pupils but by teachers who had race bias... If I didn't do anything it was my fault; if I stood up for myself I was conveniently labelled the bully by teachers.
This occurred in the playground and in the classroom and for it not to be picked up by anyone still to this day astounds and derails me.
Unacceptable safeguarding of me thus children in general. Clearly they shouldn't allow pupils to play in the woods if there are going to be spots that they cannot observe... if they were observing them in the first place.
Headteacher at the time Ms Butcher should have been a much more observant person but like all these headmasters they sit and do little.
