Secondary Schools in Hackney, London, UK

“Some teachers are average but many are very harsh and blame you for things. Racism is not dealt with properly.”

“Where do I even start with this school. When I came around 5/6 years ago in year 7, it was complete hell.”

“Ok experience and see the school getting better day by day and there are lovely teachers but some of senior leadership team was unreasonable and said different…”

“My two boys are both doing really well at this school and are happy. The school feels like a safe, friendly place to learn.”

“Do not go to this school. This school is disrespectful towards students for no absolute reason, some teachers do it on purpose.”

“All the teachers are racist or racially profile you. They're islamaphobic and if you believe in anything they don't you're wrong. They argue with students.”

“Good school. I temped here and was very pleasantly surprised. Calm environment. It's called another name now, not the Petchey Academy.”

“Everything from the education to the safety is clearly lacking as even the staff don’t care about your well being after you leave the class doors”
