A lovely school for the most part, but the SEN provision simply isn’t good enough. For the majority of students it’s fine, but for those with additional needs / neurodiversity, there just isn’t the resource or the support. Handovers between years has been practically non-existent, even though my child is on a MyPlan and some of the teachers show a real lack of understanding for any type of neurodivergence. The teachers need additional training in this area, so that SEN is better supported in the classroom, alongside peers, rather than kids being pulled out for interventions.
