Lavington School

This school is not the best school in the country as it claims to be,the teachers are rude and only care about money. They do not look after the children,the school meals always have “pink meat that smells and tastes of fish”. The rules are ridiculous as students won’t get in trouble for being horrible to other students and ruining there school life,they will get in trouble for simply helping a friend by giving them things like tampons in a private space such as a toilet cubicle. I am appalled by there lack of decency and respect for the students. Do not send your children here unless you want them to have the worse school life they possibly can. Honestly ridiculous and it needs to be sorted out.

The school claims to be one of the best in the county. It is not do not send your child here, the rules are ridiculous and you get a worse punishment for ‘forgetting a pe kit’ or being in a ‘cubicle with another pupil’ than actual bad things. For example, if you’re caught in a toilet with another person you are isolated for a day, where as if you behave badly in lessons and disrupt the teacher from doing their job, you will only get a detention. The staff here are also stuck up and obnoxious and have specifically told students they don’t care about the students, only the pay rise they get if the students get good grades. You will have teachers scream in your face and invade your home life. The SLT claim to be great but they do not help students at all, in fact all they do is criticise and shout. It is a toxic environment and if you’re still attending the school now, run while you can.

if your child is ill but doesnt have perfect attendance due to illness or medical problems, they will not do anything to help and leave your child with unauthorised attendance even if they have came into school and tried to stay in, and will put harsh decisions on parents even if they have seen a medical note

The school claims to have good SLT and good bullying control however that do nothing about bullying and have horrible control over students. If your having a panic attack, they will sit and wait for you with no help just sit there and wait for you to shh. Couldn't have found a worse school to go to.

The school claims to be more progressive than they are. Although they claim to be supportive of LGBTQ students, homophobic and trans phobic bullying is a massive problem at the school, and the SLT do not punish homophobic students
